She confided later that his nose was quite wet but she definitely enjoyed kissing him more than the python!

Each regular sized class had to read 100 hours (smaller classes 50 hours) in order to build their part of schoolhouse.

Many exciting things are happening as Uplands Catholic School launches their Read-a-thon on April 6th! A tree sprouting books mysteriously grew over the weekend in the front lobby of the school. Teachers, library technician and principal have many activities planned over the next 3 weeks.

As part of their fundraising efforts, they will be dedicating the funds raised to the "OK Clean Water Project" in Cameroon and IF they reach their target goal of $500, Mrs. Sue McCarthy, principal, will bravely kiss the "lips" of either a python or a pig. Over the course of the next few days, the children will have the chance to vote which set of lips Mrs. M. will kiss!
